- Each system built by AEROMARITIME is installed, set-to-work, and commissioned by our own crew of technical engineers. The engineers have all necessary mechanical and electrical skills required to perform installation work, cable laying and termination, and system testing. Our field engineers can also provide inspections and assessment of existing systems and propose modernization and upgrades.
Each system built by AEROMARITIME is tested against the procedure documentation and its charcteristics and performance are verified by a number of tests. The main test milestones are:
- Pre-Factory Acceptance Test (Pre-FAT)
- Factory Acceptance Test (FAT)
- System Integration Test (SIT)
- Harbor Acceptance Test (HAT)
- Sea Site Acceptance Test (SAT)
Each system is fully set-up in the factory to verify all parameters specified in the contractual documents and specifications. Simulations are only made where real transmission of signals is against legal regulations. Each test is witnessed by customer representatives if so requested.
After installation, the system are tested in their environment, as an integral part of larger combat systems. These tests are performed while vessels are still in harbor or later, after vessel completion, at sea.

Documentation includes equipment documentation, system documentation and repair manuals, and, if requested, preventive maintenance documentation.
With every system, AEROMARITIME provide extensive operator and maintainer training for on-board crew and depot. The training enables the participants to perform their dedicated tasks autonomous and also to instruct others to learn from the experience they have gained.
All delivered systems are supported by our spare part service. Spare part information is provided in the system documentation. AEROMARITIME runs an specialized spares department which respond rapidly to any service call, to ensure our systems are supported and operational during their entire lifetime.
