As Project Manager you will be responsible for the technical and commercial project management of customised projects in the field of naval communications systems. Your function ranges from analysing requirements, time and cost scheduling to supplier handling and contract management. You lead the project team as well as supervise the set up and maintenance of the project organisation and report regularly to the client and our management. Risk management and technical change management as well as sales support will also fall within your remit.

This position requires a degree in engineering (communications or high frequency engineering) or a closely related field. Apart from that, you have gathered work experience in project management, ideally in the (communications) engineering environment. Thereby you acquired substantial knowledge of communications engineering and/or high-frequency engineering as well as ideally experience in the military environment.

You are responsible for the sales of customized radio-communication systems and/or military message handling systems. Particularly this comprises the acquisition of new customers as well as customer care in the dedicated national and international sales regions. For tenders you prepare detailed quotations in technical and commercial respects, solicit offers of suppliers and negotiate price and contract terms with the client. Market and competition analysis and sales forecasts for your sales region fall also in your remit. Finally you organise and visit trade fairs as well as prepare technical data sheets and other promotion material.

You bring along an engineering degree (communications or high-frequency engineering), in computer science or in a closely related field. You gathered at least 3 years of work experience in the field of communications engineering, ideally in an international sales position or alternatively as systems engineer or project manager. Thereby you acquired substantial knowledge of communications engineering and/or high-frequency engineering as well as computer-aided signal processing.

Personally we expect from you excellent negotiation and communication skills, assertiveness, a high customer orientation and strong presentation abilities. Apart from that, the position requires a willingness to travel at home and abroad as well as a business fluency in English. French and/ or Spanish language skills are beneficial.

As Systems Engineer you develop concepts for complex naval communications systems. Moreover you create functional system specifications as well as detailed specifications for hard- and software based subsystems and as standard for internal and external development orders. You plan and support the system integration and verification as well as follow-up the time schedule in coordination with the overall project planning. Finally you support the acquisition of new orders and contribute to the definition and provision of an adequate infrastructure for the systems development.

This position requires a degree in engineering (communications or high frequency engineering), computer science or a closely related field. You have gathered several years of work experience and have acquired substantial knowledge in the state-of-the-art engineering tools and processes.
